Questions about ZavaZone Family Indoor Trampoline and Adventure Park Franchises
What experience do I need to become a ZAVAZONE franchise owner?
Franchise candidates interested in the ZavaZone concept don’t necessarily need to have specific prior experience in a fitness or entertainment-oriented business like ours. Ideal candidates will need to be collaborative leaders with good people skills and who genuinely enjoy working with children and families. We also look for people who are enthusiastic about the concept and about healthy activities.
What makes ZAVAZONE different?
Our model is different than other family entertainment franchises. Born out of our desire to bring Fun In Motion® to kids, families, friends, and communities, we are an indoor adventure park that goes above the trampoline parks, climbing gyms, and ropes courses. For you as a franchisee, that means multiple revenue opportunities and the satisfaction of creating a fun-focused, healthy alternative to other family entertainment franchises.
What is provided as part of the ZAVAZONE franchise system?
We will provide your initial one-week training to you and your center managers at our corporate location. We will also spend one week on-site at your location, including a full weekend, after the equipment is installed; and then we’ll provide up to two days of training after your Grand Opening. After your center is open for business, we will be there to provide remote support and ongoing guidance, and answer questions you may have. You’ll also receive a copy of our confidential operations manual to help you run your facility properly on a day-to-day basis.
How much will the ZAVAZONE franchise investment cost me?
The projected initial investment range for a single start-up franchise ranges from $1,676,000 and $2,836,000. This investment amount includes an initial franchise fee of $50,000. As with any new business venture, it’s important that you have the capital needed to adequately fund your new business.
Are there ongoing fees paid to the franchisor?
Franchisees will pay royalty fees equal to 6% of gross sales. These fees allow us to fund our ongoing support services and the continued development of equipment and product options, marketing tools, training programs, and systems upgrades.
Are there any advertising fees?
Franchisees are required to spend the higher of a flat fee ($3,000/month to start; $2,000/month after Month 6) or 1% of gross revenues (may be subject to increase, up to 2%, with prior notice) on local marketing and advertising in their territories. Franchisees will also contribute up to 1% of revenues into the system marketing fund (with a possible increase up to 3% of gross revenue with prior notice). Collected funds will be used to develop marketing strategies to promote the ZavaZone brand and fund the creative costs to develop local franchise marketing materials and campaigns.
Is financing available?
We do not offer direct financing to franchisees. We may be able to provide references to qualified financing or lending resources on a case-by-case basis.
What is the term of the franchise agreement?
The initial term of your franchise agreement is ten years, with two additional successor agreement options of five years each.
